El disco ha sido producido por Neal Avron, con quien ya trabajaron en From Under The Cork Tree, Infinity On High y Folie à Deux, y a juzgar por el primer single, el cuarteto parece haber recuperado el sonido más guitarrero de aquellos discos.
«No solo nos enseñó cómo hacer discos, sino que tiene una capacidad única para realmente tomarse el tiempo y concentrarse en un disco»,
ha comentado el cantante y guitarrista Patrick Stump sobre Avron.
«Pensamos que era una obviedad volver a trabajar con él, en un disco en el que eso era muy importante para nosotros, y tuvo la amabilidad de aceptar trabajar con nosotros».
